it was 1 AM, I was tired, frustrated, confused, I was just trying to fix it, it was going in straight at first but the angle i was trying to put it in must have moved it to the sidewhen i was trying to put the bolt in....i know I ****ed up but its too late for that now, I have to find ana answer to my problem

your probably gonna have to pull the bellhousing out so you can drill, tep and helicoil that bolt hole.

WOW THAT SUCKS, I CANT EVEN GET TO THE TOP BOLTS OF THE TRANNY, I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE ENGINE AGAIN! I THINK IM GOING TO USE THE DREMEL.

lol, rewmoving the engine is a lot of extra work unless ur just really fast at it. get some really long extensions, and some swivel sockets, and those top tranny bolts are just a cake walk

You slay me! But I'm with you on this one. If the part doesn't look the same, doesn't line up the same, WHY THE FUG force it in?

lol, yeah those 4wd suburbans are pretty aggravatin. i always have them on a lift, i take the X-member out first,(not the one with torsion bars, the one right below transfer case) then take the transfer case out seperate, and then the tranny is easy, u just gotta let it droop down a lil bit =P oh yeah, that works on most, just take the crossmember out, let the tranny droop a LITTLE bit, and it can be easier to get the extensions up to them
