Are underdrive pulleys worth it? Can you feel a difference along with other mods, such as headers, off-road H, and Flows?

And your alternator is frying and your water pump can't keep up. Got money?

You're right buzzstang, I did do something wrong. But I righted it by going to a 140amp alternator and a summit water pump. No more dimming lights, etc., etc, etc.

on a stock engine you won't have a problem but when you add things to tax the cooling system problems will arrise as will a big amp for the alt....but hey the 140 amp and better water pump it items that should be added often not thought about

Yeah, that 65amp stocker sucks. If your battery starts getting old or loses some charge from commuting at night in the rain, I can vouch for the fact that it will fry an alternator, soonest. Pulleys are great, and if it's in a newer stang with the high amp alternator, all the better. But modifications to the charging system (and sometimes cooling) in a stock fox body are prudent.
