besides a small header exhaust leak everything appears to okay....also has surging issue mechanic said that the mass air meter wasnt functioning properly....its a gt40 crate engine with ported and polished heads,e303 cam,cobra upper and lower intake, 65 mm bbk throttle body, c&l cold air tube, 30# injectors, kurban fuel pressure regulator,bbk longtubes with bbk o/r xpipe with flowmasters,griffin 3 core radiator with black magic fan, 100 amp alternator,march underdrive pulleys,wc t5 with hurst short throw shifter, king cobra clutch, and 3.73 gears...294 rwhp and 324 tq.. also have a 125 wet shot kit (not installed) what kind of numbers might i reach with the nitrous installed?

arent those motors rated 345hp in base trim? yes to the flywheel...what i am putting to the ground is 294 hp... thats without the nitrous of course...

you'd figure with the ported heads and all u would be over 300 to the wheels

just seems like alot of money for such little power. those engines arent cheap.

i bought it used with 2500 miles on it...i paid 1800 bucks for the complete engine minus longtube and radiator and nitrous...also got a wc t5 with upgraded internals 2500 miles on it as well and king cobra clutch with same mileage for another 700......i havent had it tuned i am just going by what the guy showed me..i have some stuff off of my old engine that i added so i may have more than that just going by his dyno slip......so i think i did pretty well all that with low mileage for 2500$...i aint complaining
