You were reading my post wrong.
I'm commenting on how long we (myself included) have been using the basic carb that came out so long ago.
True, many things have been changed about it but it's still the same basic design...........

I'm gathering the parts for the swap. From what I've heard you need to change, the coil, distributor, fuel pump (not fun), intake, you'll need a carb and you might want to think about getting new fuel line for the car while you're doing all that. Also don't forget your gaskets. I say carb all the way!
