.......you could buy a remanufactured ECM at any of the big chain auto parts stores for ~$100 BTW......you should make sure the ECM is at fault though.

I have a 95 cobra, that runs rough when it is cold and when you floor it, the motor gets leaned out. Its at a mechanics he has checked every sensor, even changed fuel pump and filter. He said the only things left is injectors and the ecm. I'm taking my buddys 94 cobra so he cross check. Where can u get a 95 cobra ecm for a $100

I'd be willing to bet that your mechanic didnt check crap.

pull your ECT plug and check the resistance on the sensor both while cold, and at operating temperature... post your results

Then borrow a code scanner and pull the codes YOURSELF. Did he clean the MAF meter? did he check your fuel pressure? did he check for broken vac lines? There are a host of items I can't even remember right now that could cause those problems.

If the injectors are firing then they're fine and my guess is the ECU has never been better...they're tough as nails.

not for nothing, but an ECM doesnt just go "a little bad".

it either works, or it doesnt.

my money is on the ECT

Don't waste your dough buying an ECM that might NOT solve the problem......start with the basic self-tests, don't gue$$....... DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test
