I don't understand why a 2" drop would have driveshaft rubbing on things.

Why are you so focused on the driveshaft?

It could be pinion angle, pinion bearing, wheels/tires.

Because I have drove the last 50,000 miles with the same wheels, lowering springs,pinion angle, and everything else without a problem. The car was smooth as canbe before changing out the driveshaft and transmission.So it has to be the driveshaft or something related to it. When driving the car, it is obviously something to do with the driveshaft. When I can see the shifter vibrateing, I don't think that has to do with a wheel or tire.

something in the trans is bad, thats my guess.
output shaft bearing maybe

Did you use a dail indicator and indexyor bell houseing to the trans and block?You should be with in .010-.005 thousands of an inch.If not theres youproblem.You said it yourself differnt year cars with major changes to them.
