RE: My turn Dbeck, yipee for me!!
Here are some photos, the H-pipe is obviously the old one, sorry, can't get a photo of the new one in, and then the old distributor cap and rotor, then the engine compartment with the new MSD stuff installed. Yah, it's ugly, most of it is stock, even the stock nylon fan, well, I've changed the fan and clutch once, but it's not upgraded, and I'll get rid of that and have an electric one ONCE STUPID DBECK GIVES ME THE DAMN FAN!! I just got through doing my full exhaust on my 5.0... It did take a lot of work, but I started with the headers, then progressed to the H-pipe (no cats) AND my new Flowmaster American Thunder system. The headers are really easy believe me, yes you have to disconnect the H-pipe to the rest of your exhaust, slide it back, disconnect your plug wires, dispose of your plugs, and the dip stick, (just pulls out) and redu the steps in the opposite order... Very simple, only took 2 hours to do my headers, 2 hours for the H-pipe, and 2 hours for my American thunder system. All can easily be done in an afternoon.
