My turn Dbeck, yipee for me!!
Hey, today, I installed my new H-pipe, MSD ignition coil, MSD distributor cap/rotor, and fixed my tachometer, a failed resistor caused two diodes to burn out, so I whipped out my soldering iron and replaced them, and good as new!
But man, with the new off-road H-pipe, my car sounds like a freakin beast!!
Also, it's riding real smooth now, no more knocking with the new coil and cap.
Woot, I'm tired as hell from working on the car all day, but man did it pay off!!

Hehe, my mufflers are from Steeda, and I think my headers are stock, that would be my next project, but I hear you have to loosen or take off the H-pipe in order to get the headers off, then you also have to take out all the spark plugs and the dip stick. Damn, I don't feel like going through all that trouble with the H-pipe again! lol, maybe later when I have recovered, my hand is all beat up, even with gloves!
Also, I know equal length headers are good for horsepower, but bad for torque right? Either way, unequal length is much cheaper, and I'm always a budget guy...

I would not go with unequal length headers even if they are the cheapest. You'll get better performance and sound from a set of equal length shorties. 1-5/8" size is fine. and long tubes are necessarily bad for torque either, it's when you go too large in diameter with them that you give up some low end torque.
