NEW ENGINE BUILD!!!!!!!!
Alright, i'm contiplating a new engine build up, and throwin some ideas around, i was gandering upon a 347 witha wicked *** procharger, like a level 20 block, or so, just a idea, i'm lookin for round 600 hundred horse or so, everything i got now can withhold it, just want some nuts power, mostly stip, ocasionaly street, but not much. whats some good builds u recomend, and i'd like to stay away from the 351's, nice but i don't want to deal with that.

+1 on the dart sportsman block thats what im using for my current 347 stroker build because anything else just about you run a chance of splitting it especially with the adder. make sure the suspension and chassis is ready for all that power also, not to mention the tranny and rearend.

yeah somethign will have to give with all that power!
iceman, does the stuff that you would put on an oem block for a 331, would it fit the dart or other aftermarket block or is there special stuff to get to make it fit?
i thought about building another engine down the road for boost.

RE: NEW ENGINE BUILD!!!!!!!!
Like i said, I have baseline upper and lower control arms, drag launch springs, strange 31 splines, c-clip eliminators, auburn diff, 4.10's axle girdle, u name it, aluminum drive shaft, full length sub frame conn. g force tranny, steel bellhousing, stage 3 spec clutch, solid motor mounts, none of that will be a problem, ok, so i have also heard good things bout the dart block and that was also one of my options, so does the 347 resopond well to a procharger, thats just what i kinda want to go with, that or a vortech, which one do u guys like,>? by the way, what heads do u guys think would best suit? a set of afr's?
