Air Conditioner Electrical Issues

Air Conditioner Electrical Issues
My wife's 95 5.0 has a problem with the AC. The clutch doesn't engage - SUPPOSEDLY the system is full, but the clutch won't engage.
Picked up a Chiltons manual today, and it's worthless as **** on a bull..... Here's the step by step on rebuilding an engine, but the AC is to complicated to work on so take it to a mechanic.
From looking at the fuse diagrams, the blower for the heater won't blow if either fuse is blown. The fan works, so the fuses are good. One thing I noticed is that the engine fan does not come on when the AC is switched on and the engine is warmed up.
Any ideas on what it could be or how I could trouble shoot this? Is there anyway I can jumper a connection and bypass all the switches involved?
Any help would be appreciated. I did a search and didnt' turn anything up.
Thanks.

RE: Air Conditioner Electrical Issues
supposedly its full?? maybe you have a leak and you dont know about it, take it to a pro and let them check it out.
there is a wire you can jump to bypass everything and its the cycling switch, its located on the dryer. i highly recommend you dont do so, you might be dry and ruin your compressor.
