inital work on the 5.0 swap
well, I figured I would want to get started on my 5.0 swap asap, but with my vacation being tomorrow, I cant do anything for a week[:@] so today after work, I got started on the intial inspection on both the 5.0 and the 3.8 in the car. I have found that the engines, though different, hae similar setups when it comes to the plumbing and electrical. now I dont know everything for certian yet, for I still have to yank out the 3.8 to find all the details... but that will be easier once I rip all the AC crap out....
I'll have more info as the swap goes on... it just found it interesting... the radiator hoses and heater lines follow the exact same path on both the 3.8 engine and the 5.0 and the trans bellhousing appears to be set up the same way for both motors....

Shelty; Don't feel too bad, all I have to do is put my water pump and the alternator back on and my racer is ready.
With work and vacation time coming up, I'm 'dead' for about after tomorrow...........
