Default F4TE heads...any good?

Are they better than the E7's? They are the stock head on a 95 351...I have a set and was thinking of swapping them on to my 5.0 if they are any good....or at least better than my E7's. I also have a set of 75 351 heads, would those be better?(I think they are D5AE heads...not sure)Thanks

Are you sure? I pulled a roller 351w apart on a 97 truck and it had E7s on it.

Those are the heads on the 94 thru 96 351's. I will have to double check, but I am pretty sure.

F4TE are nothing more than an E7 head with larger head bolt holes.

you wanna fine some DOOE, F3ZE, or F77E heads

So neither set are any good? I thought the older heads were like the 69 heads...same valves anyway.

69/70 heads, i have the C9's on mine. that set for 500 bones from that link posted is a good price since they are already worked over and ready to be installed. ask if the guy had hard seats installed though, or you'll be adding lead substitute to your gas every time you fill up.
