Default freshening up a 91

some of you may have read my other post. but i will keep you in the loop quickly. i bought a 91 stang and have been getting it road ready for the past couple weeks. i am all set with that all of the motor and exhaust crap is fixed and now i have another question.

when driving the car doesn't have that new car feel to it. the steering wheel seems a little shakey and overall the car just feels old and loose. what is a good way to get it back up to par like when it rolled of the lot in 91. would a bushing kit do the trick? or maybe something else i haven't thought of? any input is appreciated

Default RE: freshening up a 91

Your gonna need a new sterring rack, i just bought one from latemodel resto for $250 which is a kit with both inner and outer tie rods, rack bushings and sway bar end links. Might need a new pump too, I changed both on my 89 and its like a whole new car. You will need an alingnment afterwards. If your car is lowered get the offset rack bushings
