Default please help!

so another issue has come about. At idle i have 0 oil pressure. when i get on it it goes to about
15 or so psi if that. on a cold start it would normally be at 50 psi once it warms to about 25.
now on a cold start i am at 40-45. warmed up less than 25. so i guess my question is could it be
the oil pump? And do they just $hit out all at once or does it $hit out gradually?

double check the oil pressure sensor on the side of the block... people never realize that the sensor itself can become clogged with engine sludge.

pull it out, clean it... or worst case scenario.. replace it.

*edit* spelling owns me

2kwik... do you deny that it is possible for build-up in the orifice of the sending unit to give a false reading to the gauge?

oil level is full.

it is an aftermarket gauge(autometer). I checked the wire going to the sender and it was tight so.

Adder, i just rebuild my engine less than 500 miles ago, could it really be clogged from sludge? I mean the block was hot tanked and i cleaned alot of things off before putting them back on.

Not necessarily sludge, but especially in a new assembly, lots of things can get in there. Even a big blob of assembly lube can do it.
