Your best bet is to invest ina set of FRPP 3.73 gears$300, UPR Upper/Lower Control Arms $200, MM Subframes $125,& a used Cobra Upper/lower Intake $150, advacne the timing (Free), and find some wider sticky tires... that'll put you in mid-high 13's. Supension is the most important part of gaining time on the 1/4 mile. Hope this helps, good luck!

This is good stuff. Really though, all you need to be in the 13's (not low, but in nonetheless) is gears, sticky tires, decent driving skills, and at least lower rear control arms (uppers too would be preferable). That would get you there. I wouldn't go nitrous first, because you'll still be spinning the tires plenty. You'll have power once you hook, but 1320 feet doesn't give you much space.

Edit: I repeat words too much in one sentence

Excellent input guys, I remember an article Joe DaSilva wrote where he said if you couldn't pull gears you won't get where you want to be anyway. I totally agree with the suspension mods, and the tires most absolutely. I have a set of 3.55's I am considering of putting in, and control arms would be the next mod for the chassis. I fabbed my own connectors, and likely will swap the intake over the winter. Thanks again

100 shot of nitrous and slicks.
