Saw that the other day. Seriously, who thought it would be a good idea to have a dragster doing a burnout and running that hard / fast on a city street in a parade with absolutly no safeguards in place?

there won't be any charges filed, hopefully.
there definately shouldn't be. that is totally not his fault.
those people are risking their lives willingly by standing right the **** there. gimme a break.
burnout or not, they should not be allowed to be right there.
the owners of the track are 100% at fault here, not the driver.
edit: just saw that it was a public street. therefore, whoever is in charge of that amusement park is liable for the safety measures of any event that they promote.

Yeah, that totally sucks and those people should NEVER have been allowed to be that close to a car with that much power. There's a reason the stands are as far back from the barrier as they are at tracks.
