not that i know of. its pretty simple. just a few parts. routing the wiring through the dash is the worst part of it.

I just did a MAF swap this year, hadlittle more than $200 into it and it all seems to work fine(minus faulty ECU[:@])

You will need

MAF($30shipped off ebay...70mm)
ECU($106 at napa)
Harness(or make your own)(I made my own...$9 into the pig tail and $7 into the terminals, then another $12 in wire)
VSS(if you don't have cruise)($16 off ebay and $25 for the cable)
and if you don't have cruise, you will also need a new speedo cable for the VSS
Also you will need to make the cold air kit or buy one. (made my own)

just get a A9L computer for 5 speed, A9P for auto, then you need the maf sensor and plug with 4 wires, you have to splice it into the computer, its not that hard and a lot cheaper than paying $450 for the kit check ebay

yes, ford makes a kit. but i think its rediculusly priced. these other guys have the right idea, piece one together

fyi if ur stick, a manual, OR auto comp will be fine.

can i ask, why are you doing the conversion? alota ppl have false ideas about SD and do it when its not nessacery

It seems like the right way to go, more thought and technology put into it. I plan on doing a h/c/i + SC build. Like, GT 40p heads, maybe Holly systeMax II upper and lower, (open for suggestions on intake)and either an e-303 or steeda #19 cam (ditto). From the info ive gathered MAF seems easier to tune and more forgiving than SD. But, ive ran into some money troubles so i started the build yet so im still open for opinions.

You also might think about going with astand alone system like Megasquirt. The build process and wire layout is a little more in depth but you won't need to spend the money on that mass air sensor or mass air ecu. I was quoted about 440 bucks total for a build yourself megasquirt. Some people are happy with what they got with a mass air conversion and chipped dyno tune. I myself was not and wished I had learnedof megasquirt earlier. When I talked to the shop that tuned me before about a re-tune when I got my supercharger, they were telling me that they don't like tuning the EEC computers, lots of time involved and it never seems to be able to run completely right. This opinion was shared with many of the fellow Stang'ers at the local track, one of which I was talking to who was using megasquirtran a turbo'dfox that ran 10.20's @ ~135's or something around there.
