87-93 Mustang Interior work in 1986 Mustang?
 

I am looking at an 86 stang for sale locally it looks pretty nice but It has the red interior and I hate the red interior so I would probably wind up changing everything to black so while I am at it could I use the 87-93 interior pieces? Like the dash and other stuff? I really like the newer dash.

its all swapable, just about everything from 79-93 is..

Do-Able but it is a lot of work.

Are you selling you red stuff? I need some red stuff for mine.

No havent bought it, but if I do ill let you know. So its doable but its a pain basically? Do you know where I can get all the parts I need?

really is a pain in the ass to change the dash, most everything else is swappable, I would give you **** fordisgracing an 86 but its the nasty porno red interior :D

I frequent the local scrap metal yard looking for parts like that. A whole totaled car with the correct interior that is good is cheapest. Look for a LX that is wrecked an it will have most of your parts. I just looked at an 88 LX with a decent interior and a trashed body for $200.00.

A Lot of parts are available from 50resto.com. The sell a back to black kit the covers all of your cloth and carpets. you can get a dash pad instrument cluster, gauges and most every thing except for the actual dash.

It would be easier to keep the style and change the color. Use dye on the plastic and buy new cloth, carpet, and door panels.
If you dye the plastic make sure it is clean before you spray it.

i boght a 90 dash and was gunna swap it but you need to change the whole wireing harness....the engin harness...i have a dash for sale 100 all pices but no harness..concole to its complete
