Motives are fine for DD, but not so much for serious drag racing.

I have several friends with the motive gears and have never seen them have any problems and seem to be pretty quite. I picked up a set of 3.73's locally for 100bucks with the install kit brand new. I have heard rumors that the new ford racing gears are manufactured by motive?
