Default Buying a m5 car with C4 conversion. Questsions.

I am thinking about inquiring a 5.0L stang from a person that is fairly close to me. The car was originally a m5, but has been converted over to a C4 big bellhousing transmission. Here is what the guy told me.

I purchased the transmission from a local Ford guru here. He was originally going to put it in his Maverick race car but later decided to go with a glide I believe. The trans was completely dissasmbled, hot tanked, and rebuilt. Every nut, every shim, and every clutch. There are also extra Raysbesto's Blue clutches in 2nd and 3rd. Then it was assembled with a PA (performance automatic) manual valve body, deep aluminum trans pan, and the really rare Ford "H" servo. It grabs very solid but it's not harsh. It's been a very streetable transmission.

it also has:
-Hughes Street/Strip 3K converter
-B&M 28,000GVW Trans cooler
-B&M Pro Stick Shifter (installed in stock console and utilizes stock boot)

So, what should I check for when I go to pick this car up? Should I have a mechanic look it over, or what do you guys suggest I do. I plan on test driving the car of course.

Here are some pictures:

Space invaders FTW! C-4's are very solid trannies if their built right. Sounds liek someone went through it pretty thoroughly. And theres no converting involved, C-4's bolt right up to a 302. Come to think of it, it sounds like someones trying to take advantage of your inexperience.

What do you mean? I was the one that posted it as C4 conversion, he didn't, just said it had the tranny and sent me the post mentioned above.

Updated the pictures.
