Default Dyno Numbers

I threw the car on the dyno at school today for some baseline numbers to tune off of. She put down 325 hp and 360 tq, runnin almost 16:1 with a **** load of timing pulled out. I'm bringing it back in next week with a jet kit and I'm going to bump the timing to see if it will put down 380 or more. I'll keep ya'll updated.

O ya, the graph jumps all over the place cause the sensor on the dyno is messed up.

Dude your way way lean. I would never have even made a full pull with a reading that lean.

Plus the first pull wasn't that bad. Like 14.7:1, which isn't too bad. Awfully lean for WOT though.

Of course I saw that. I was saying that I would have stopped the pull as soon as it went 14.0 under WOT.

Ya ur right. I dunno how accurate our wideband is but I think it's close. Hopefully I can get some dyno time next week with some jets in my hands so I can get it runnin right.

Where are you putting the O2 for the wide band? Did you weld a bung in the exhaust for it? Or are you just clamping a piece of pipe with O2 init to the tail pipe? A bung in the exhaust will give a more accurate reading.

It's a tube that goes in the exhaust, like on a 5 gas machine. I dunno if that would give false air readings or not. I really don't wanna cut up these headers though.

You don't need to put the bung in the headers, just in the pipe after them. The pipe stuck in the end will work but a bung gives a better reading.
