Default 1986 gt t-top for sale, whats it worth?

well guys this is a fixer upper apparently. i have yet to go and see it. but i called and the gentleman said the car it painted 2004 viper red and all rust spots were welded (mig). it has subframe connecters, 3.55 posi rear end that has yet to be installed. it comes with an extra gt interior, and an extra t-top. it has a new king cobra clutch, 89 rebuild engine with comp cam, shaved heads. it has a new i think ford racing catback.the interior needs to put back together, such as door pannels and other little parts. i am calling to get milage and info on if it has been converter to maf, or if it is carbed. it is 5 speed, and needs tires to safety along with the interior put back.

what do you guys think it is worth? and what to look for when making a purchse?

well update: stang wasnt to bad. i am still very verty interested in it. he is looking to get about 2800 CAD obo. but i think i could get it for maybe 2300CAD. so it has bbk subframes, king conra clutch, 3.55 gears. it has a ok paint job, but not great. was painted two years ago. it comes with two sets of GT interior and two sets of t-tops.i never even talked about price or anything with him face to face, i am going to see him again on friday. and i will talk money with him them. not to much rust at all, just the surface rust inside the doors, just minor stuff.

EDIT: also has the stock header and mid-pipe, but has the ford racing catback. 2.5" and 3" tips

i paid 2700 for my 86 gt, it needed a lot of body work and both doors and hatch were rusted-had to replace. But it had black interior with 93 gt door panels, front and rear seats, sun visors and quarter trim. It was a 5 speed with 93 motor with cobra intake, msd distributer, 65mm throttle body, 75mm mass air sensor, mac cold air intake, underdrive pullies, equal length header, off road h, flowmasters, it also had steeda control arms, it had a lot of parts for the money.i still put a hell of a lot of work into it

well guys i think i am goingt o make the purchase. this is a solid base car that i am looking for. my build plans for now are to stay stock, put the subframe contectors in and the 355 gears, and a new mid pipe. o/r h. then next year i want to swap a 351or stroke to 393 (havent decided on which yet). but from ther i plan to go carb, with a blower (weiand, holley, b&m). and that'll do for a while.
