Default GOOD MACHINE SHOPS??????

HEY I AM NEW HERE JUST LOOKING FOR A GOOD MACHINE SHOP IN SAINT LOUIS MISSOURI. I HAVE A STOCK 5.0 BLOCK AND HEADS WAS LOOKING TO GET THE BLOCK MACHINED AND BORED. CURIOUS AS TO HOW MUCH TO PAY FOR THIS. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD MUSTANGS BUT NEVER REALLY GOT UNDER THE HOOD ALOT. I DONT WANT A TOP NOTCH RACE MACHINE MAYBE 375-400 HORSE ANY SUGGESTIONS. ID LIKE TO USE THE STOCK BLOCK THAT I ALREADY HAVE JUST BECAUSE I HAVE IT. I AM ACTUALLY A BMW TECHNICIAN AND WE DONT FIX ENGINES WE REPLACE THEM.

well most machine shops charge from $10 to $20 a bore crank is probly around $25-$40 to polish and what not

i am also from STL and am not positive about a good machine shop. i dont know if they do machine work but mustang muscle is a pretty cool place to check out. http://www.mustangmuscleonline.com/

Not sure if you guys have this down there but in Iowa we have Arnolds Motor Supply. They do all my machining.

i am in st. peters. i saw a sign for a machine shop at veterans memorial drive and route k but i dont want to spend alot of time and get this thing together and have problems that could have been avoided. i like to spend my money with someone who has references.

Words of advice here, DO NOT shop for price if you are looking for any quality machine work..........
