you sure u need a motor????????????

that could be exhaust leak , or advanced timing/carbon build. I had a 302 with ticking valves they said, it turned out to be a collector leaking and micro cracked header

ya the motor is a gonner, i know the difference, im trying to put toghether my list to build that explorer motor i found. the guys says its a 3rd month of 97 so i figure its the non p motor wich i hope is a plus. I spent hours yesterday reading the stickies and the search button and all i get it p is better non p is better bla bla bla. All i want to do is get a complete explorer motor put roller rockers on it and a steeda 19 cam 24lb injectors and maf.the rest of my supporting mods are in my sig. Im just wondering what else i might come across on i dont want to tap and drill, i believe everything will bolt on and plug in am i correct?? i need to start ordering my parts
