Default fog lamps

i notice people driving around that have their fog lights turned on when they only have their parking lights on, but mine cant do this. They turn on when i have all of my lights on but not with just the parking lights like i would like. any ideas on how i can fix this?

Other stangs or any car in general? Its possible they had them rewired if its another stang. My 93 had to have the h/l on to use the fogs. Anything else were probably that way from factory to run with DRLs.

So, in answer to your 'how-to', just rewire them to a seperate switch with a dedicated fuse.

I know i've heard of some people dismantling their headlight switch and notching the little ramp on hte inside so it goes into fog lights without turning the headlights on. i know this works in my f150 but i cant remember exactly what the sn95 headlight switches look like (ive been in iraq for the last 9 months so i can't get into my wifes 98) but if thats not possible just hook up a switch for it. thats the easiest route.

yah i just did this, this past weekend. look up the foglight fix, then get your hands on a wiring diagram.

all you need is a few electrical connectors, a few feet of wire, an inline fuse, and a relay. cost you about $10 to do it.
