Default E G R plate

Hey guys I'm looking for some help here! I'm in the process of trying to take my E G R plate off my plenum and for the life of me it won't come off. I've tried pounding a screwdriver between the plate and plenum(being careful not to screw up the plenum)and it just won't come apart. I'm replacing my 60mm throttle body witha 65 mm throttle body so I already have the throttle partoff(which was a pain in the a** too)I just need to get the plate off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanxs

Give it a few whacks with a rubber mallet, should eventually pop off.

Heat it up a little...or grab the studs with vise grips and turn them out...use lots of penetrating oil too.

hmm... mine slid right off

What those guys said was all good advice, the studs may require a stud extractor, but the rubber mallet should do the trick
