95 explorers didnt have a 5.0 engine, and the 96-97.5's ddint have GT-40P heads either.

perhaps you should carefully double check what the engine truely is before you buy it

Sorry its a 1996 Ford Explorer motor, and I think GT40p is the engine code or whatever isnt it?

again... no.

GT-40P HEADS were not used until the later half of 1997 until 2000-2001

when you go to look at the car, inspect the passenger side head, lower right corner, near the head bolt.

It should say either GT or GTP

GT would be GT-40 heads. If these are stock GT-40 explorer heads, the motor is likely running lower compression. they usually have a larger (66cc) combustion chamber resulting in a 8.8:1 compression ratio.
GTP would be GT-40P heads. those are the ones that require special headers due to the spark plug angle

Alright sure will, so you have to have a custom set of headers to make it work like normal bolt on longtubes wont do the trick?
