Default Hey tire/wheel guys...

So I got my oil changed and they reminded me that my back tires are bald and I've been wanting to put new rims on the car so i think i've decided to go with these...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-9-...29483626QQrdZ1

My question is about the rear tires. I just replaced my fronts so I'm gonna stick them on those rims. I wanna get as wide as a tire as I can and legal at the same time car gets a lot of highway runnin too when I go to school. I don't really understand all the numbers involved with tires so I figured I would ask the experts... thanks

Oh also any recommendations on tires would be nice, I have pirellis on the fronts

Run a 275/40/17. Even like a 315/35/17 (might be too wide...)...it is the right diameter. That will give you your 26" tall tire. What size front tires you running?

The 275 is the width in MM
the 40 is the side wall...this one is a little more complicated..it is 40% of the width what makes the side wall.
and the 17 is the rim.

Those tire sizes I gave you are the same diameters as the front...should work good.

The one size might be too wide for your car...it will fit on your rim. I know some guys have run a 315 on a 10.5 rim with a SN95, just not sure if they had to do anything to get them to fit. I know a 275 will fit for sure.
