Was it when turning because those lockers are pretty jerky around turns. The car sounded like a good deal, you can get a traction lock new for around 200 and it cost about 250-400 to get the rear rebuilt. The car might still be worth it if its just a rear end problem.

Yeah it was around the turns, man I wish this guy would let me bring the car to lamotta and let them check it out. I reaally want it, its so clean for an 86.

If it was only around turns thats normal for a locker. They really aren't great for turning but when you take it to the track you'll be glad it has a locker because that car will launch really hard.
