Default GEARS

I was wondering when i get my tax money back this year i want to get a set of gears. But i dont know what brand to get I have a 92 Mustang GT 5-spd and plan on going with the 3:73 gear ratio but dont know what brand to go with i was thinking Ford Racing or Richmond anyone have a good brand to go with or a brand they recomend? Thanks

I would say get what you can afford, I wouldnt go richmond, but motive, FRPP, and yukon gears are all good gears, I got motives in mine and there is no whine whats so ever. Also its how there installed that will make them whine. Hope this helps

just get ford, youll thank me. im not saying the others are bad but you cant go wrong with ford gears.

just make sure to get a street gear, not a full racing gear as the racing gears won't hold up well on the street due to their construction and heat treatment processes. and Ford Racing gears work just fine provided they are installed and set up properly in the rear end by someone who knows what the hell he's doing!
