my ground goes through the floor and on to a bolt on the frame, no problems here.

glad to see this post, got a relocate kit and short ground, was wondering if it would be safe, i will get alonger cable and go to the frame

Hmmmm, interesting. Mine is grounded in the trunk but I also have a ground strap up front from the block to the frame. No issues at all.

he has a small cable from motor mount to fender apron. dont know if thats enough either
