750 on a stock 302? Wayy too much fuel. what kind of carb is it? try adjusting your air and fuel screws one at a time all the way in and turn it back a quarter to a half turn and see if that gives you any good results

I tired of these guys and"its too big, bla bla bla." 80 jets were, but 72 is right on, what your problem is a gasket or accel. pump, since you broke it open you now have a problem, so that says to me, new gaskets, actually put a new kit in it, costs like $29.Before my new 347,I ran the same set up you have, RPM heads with a High rise Hurricane intake and .558 lift on my 306 and it was a beast, even put a DP 750 on and she liked it!But you other guys keep thinking its too big, all you'll see is my rear end from a distance!
