Well yesterday we got the stang going finally after i tried about 6 different belts on it. The only that im worried about right now is a loud tick that is coming from the valve train area. It almost sounds like a rocker hitting the vlave cover or a splash guard. theyre not the stock valve cover but i was postitive they would clear. it runs fine just pretty rough cuz the timing is still way out. another thing is i was wondering what the compression rate is for a stock 5.0??? I heard that it was 125lbs for a good 5.0 When we did a compression check today it averaged out to be 160lbs across the board. i Never built the motr we bought it complete off of a guy for $700 and complete rebuild with 8,000 kms . It also sounds like it has a small cam so i think it might be a rank little car haha
