Default 85 stang charging

just relocated a friends battery to the trunk, all wires hooked up correctly, good ground, new alt, new voltage regulator new battery. the battery will hold a charge but the battery does not charge when the car is on. i was told a fusable link is blown......where is this fusible link and how do you fix them
