i plan to do a complete rebuild and gaer change can anybody give me some pointers, THANKS

just buy a new traction lock posi with 31 splines and moser axles,,and your choice of gears...3.73 or 4.10s im going mid 10s on them

you have not been here long enough to gety it.

hotrod i was talking about install tips. i have 410s and an auburn 31 spline locker.

well if your not rich like me try this
buy a clutch kit and install them..add 1 or 2 of the best of the old ones as this will tighten it up and will make a hugh difference.....do not put the 2 old ones side by side.....buy the FMS gear set as it comes with the shims,crush sleeve and gears....also replace the axle seal while you have them out as well as look at the axles and bearing for wear....I would install at least a new pinion bearing...

If your new at setting gears and pinion depth I'd reccomend getting a extra crush sleeve or two. If you tighten the pinion too far you can't just back it off, it's reccomended to install a new crush sleeve and redo the pinion depth.
