Default Super Charger yes or no?

OK, her is the big question and I know Pro or Adder will answer with the best and most honest answer...I am ready to go to the next sept....I have a 91 fox convert totally built with only and I am guessing around 345? It is a ford crate motor however it has the GT40 Iron heads, that is another story. My question is which one and what boost? Also, why are there some many guy's taking them off and selling them? I raced a couple of weeks ago and half the stangs were juiced and the other half were charged. Do I need to change anything else? I installed a new 190 Walbro pump it has a 19Lb injectors, they are yellow? Thanks

You will definitely want bigger injectors with a S/C

About your question...My buddy runs a S/C, and while this thing is FAST!! He said it is too fast (as if there is such thing

For a daily driver, it is not always practical to be pushing 400+ HP. He said he loved his car so much more when it was N/A...

If you ask people what supercharger to get and you're going to get a bunch of different answers. All I can say is that only you know which one is best for you. It all depends on what you are looking for. The only thing I will suggest is to stay away from powerdyne and stick to a Procharger, Paxton Novi, or Vortech. If you prefer twin screws, then go for a Kenne Bell, but I doubt you'll want that considering your current intake.

At the very least 42#ers. You'll need an external pump to run with the 190 you just installed. (I run a 255 intank along w/ the external the kit came with) W/ the built motor, you will def see 500rwhp easily w/ a good tune. My procharger has performed very well. Been very happy w/ it. You won't need but 10-12 #'s of boost to attain those #'s either. Go for it and G/L!

On a side note, there is no such thing as TOO FAST!!!

That being said, I'm rather fond of my Procharger. Click on the link below my car in my sig and you can see it and hear it. It's not the prettiest engine bay, but I'm not out for looks anyway 430 RWHP with the supercharger and nitrous.

you will need 42lbs injectors and 255lph fuel pump
plus tune for boost and bigger injectors but have to get that same stuff with s/c too

I am looking for your vast experience...I am looking for another 200HP...This car is only driven on the weekends and trailed up to the track. NOVI seems to be the choice of champions? The motor is naturally aspirated at this point however as you know, your reach a point of complacency and then once again you want more...You know?

The Novi 1000 and Novi 2000 are good blowers, but I wouldn't call them the choice of champions. I see more Prochargers and a LOT more Vortechs than Novis.

LOL, when is enough, enough?

NEVER!!!

Yeah, something like a Hellion turbo should be considered also. Knowing what I know now, I think I would have went that root.
