Default aftermarket quadrant... install

so uh... how the **** do i get it on? i cant get the end hole to match up and go on right... im starting to not like my car. is there some kind of trick i should know?

i had my buddy push the cable trough the firewall down to the quadrent. its kinda tricky but as soon as its on the quadrent i had him pull on the cable to keep it it place.

im not worried about the cable... yet... im ****in with getting the quadrant onto the two posts.... mainly the one that moves up and down

that should just slide right on. u do not have to use those springs. just keep the codder pins. its alot easier if u remove your seat and lay on your back

youll happy on how the clutch feels and how it shifts afterwards though it a must do the stock plastic quadrent are **** the teeth alwys wear out the u just chew up your clutch . its alot easier to install the billet one then putting a new stock one in

i dont know wtf the problem is, but this ****** ****er will not go on, i cant get enough room to get the new quad to line up w. the posts to fit on

You probably bent the post that the upper pawl was on, while trying to pry it off...like I did. I had the same issue, and after 15 minutes, grabbed that upper pawl post with a wrench, and bent it down an unnoticeable amount. Then the quadrant slid right on.

Actually, I don't remember if I used a wrench or pryed the post straight with my tire iron. One of the two.

ok well i got the quad to go on... with mucho pursuasion .... aka... my breaker bar (god i love that tool, lol)

now i need to know... how can i get some slack in my clutch cable so i can hook it to the quad? will it release from the fork easy? or how can i get some slack so i can hook it to the quad.

It releases from the fork VERY easy... Just remove the cover and unhook it... No big deal...

I'd recommend a firewall adjust and new cable (if yours is stock) while you're at it.
