i got a stock 5.0 mustang with shorty headers and flowmasters, everything else is stock, i want to make it a 11 to 12 sec car all motor.. and be a car i can drive everyday if need be ....oh yea its a convertible whats the best combo to do and please use specs not just cam heads etc.. but tell me what exact stuff you would use to build this car.. thanks any help would be great

start with cubes, if not 331 or 347 stroker then 351w, stroked is best bet can be 392 or 410, even bigger but pushing it

well if i was in ur boat i would do a HCI. then from there i would s/c, and suspension, suspension, suspension. if properly set up this should be able to make it to the 12's. but since you want to stay all motor i would go with a 306-331 and use a higher compression ratio like 10:1-11:1 this is kinda suitable for a street car. but then i woulld a HCI on this all motor, and more suspension

Give us a budget and we'll give you a build.

You want a streetable 12 second car, you can just add nitrous and call it a day. (for the motor)

Whichever way you go, you will NEED to upgrade the suspension or your car is just going to be a mess.

what about gt40 intake, gt40 heads, e 303 cam.. kn induction.. 3:73 gears, sub frame connectors

by the way my car already has a x303 cam and 1.7 roller rockers, dont ask me y they put that big cam in a stock car but i was gonna take it out and start over unless i can build off of it but oh yea they freakin retarded the cam for top end so im gonna be tearin it down reguardless

not quite a 12 second car but it would be close with the right suspension
