Default 3.8 Electric fan Conversion Wiring

Does anyone know which wire is the low, high and ground? I am guessing the solid black is the ground wire. This is the 3.8 Taurus fan and I did look at the conversion article and did not see this info. Thanks in advance.

I really don't know, I am going to use the fx 35 delta control box, and I am just trying to find out what wires need to be used from the 3.8 fan. If I don't need the low setting I won't use. I will have the ac on alot as well.

Just test it with a car battery, connect your ground and then try the other 2 wires one at a time and see what happens. 12 volts from the battery isn't gonna hurt it. I'm wondering why there are 3 wires. I have a fan and the plug for it from a Taurus to install later and it only has 2 wires.

low speed is plenty for normal conditions.

the high speed setting is for when you trigger the A/C.

like mentioned above, just run 12v to it. it runs on 12v, you won't hurt it at all.

MAKE SURE YOUR FINGERS ARE CLEAR OF THE FAN BLADES, THEY WILL CUT YOUR FINGERS CLEAN OFF

thanks for the info, I did not want to fry it. I know one wire is the ground one is for low speed and one is for high speed.

Does anyone know if the fx 35 can support the low and high speed set up for the taurus, or can I only use one speed or the other.
