Default is there a cheap way to get rid of rev limiter

like title says

is there a cheap way to by pass the stock limiter. im building a new combo and need to turn more rpm. i have a msd to cut spark at a higher point.

FRPP sells an extender for moving the rpm fuel limiter up but it ain't cheap and neither are custom tuned chips but you've got no choice if you really need to get to that higher rpm now do you?
