I've got a high output 5.0 in my 86 and when it warms up it tends to idle irratically like it almost wants to stall but it doesn't do it constantly. It eventually even's itself out and then will do it again eventually. Bad sensor?? TPS?? If anybody has had the same problem and found out what it was please let me know.

is it stock and if its not does it have a cam in it?

dirty/bad IAC, then check your TPS

as far as i know its still stock, bought the car and the kid didn't tell me much about it, but i'll check my TPS and IAC

Check for vacuum leaks. Get a can of staring fluid and carefully spary it around the upper to lower intake and all vacuum hoses, it might give you a clue if there is a vacuum leak.
