I'm running 10 PSI of boost and a 100 shot of nitrous on hyper pistons. It's all in the tune. Get it tuned right and you'll have nothing worry about. Get a bad tune or run lean and you'll shatter them.
im running a 250 shot on hyper pistons, no problems yet, except a couple melted sparkplugs

as stated before its not that you cant do it with hyper pistons, its that the forged gives you some breathing room - you never know if your going to have a weak injector one day, or some less than steller gas in the tank from a crap station one day, or who knows what else. plus, with the coated skirts chances are your not going to hear the forged pistons slapping - as a matter of fact i never heard piston slap and i had 35 year old (n.o.s.) TRW forged .440 dome slugs in my 302
