Default Heater Core Bypass

Does anyone know what kind and what size of bypass tube/fitting I need to bypass my Heater core? I have done it before, but when I got my new HC, I threw it away. My heater core is broken again and need to bypass it! thanks

i just used a small pipe, conected the 2 hosesn and clamped em

I bought and adapter because the hoses are 2 diffrent sizes.I forget the exact size maybe 5/8 and 3/4 bit im not sure.I bought the adapter from a NAPA auto parts store.
