before i start mine every year i unplug the coil and turn the engine over to let the oil pump up through the engine, then i reconnect the coil and fire it.

If you are really concerned about lubrication from a long setup, then put a little 3 in 1 oil in the cylinders through the plug holes and remove the distributor and use a socket with speed handle/drill to turn the oil pump shaft. Then rotate the engine by hand/pull handle several rotations and then prime the oil pump again. Put the distributor and plugs back in, hook up the wires and give it a try.
Fuel is another concern, two years is too long without fuel stabilizer, drain the fuel before powering up the fuel pump. If you know it will sit for a while, add fuel stabilizer to the last full tank.

I am not real fond of that method especially if you have aftermarket high energy ignition. This really turns the oil pump to slow to get the oil there very fast and you can burn out ignition components with the coil wire out.
