Default Rules 4 Track - Battery Relocation

I relocated my batterya while back and was just wondering what the rules were to get my car on the track legally with the battery relocated in the trunk. Also, when I put the battery in the trunk in the aluminum box I just had the vent tube comming from the box into the hatch.I know thats not right but whereexactally is that supposed to vent to? Thanks alot guys.

I think it is vented outside the car, I know you need a battery hold down and I believe a switch to turn the power on and off, not sure where it has to be mounted, I think on the outside of the car.

since its an open cabin, it has to be a sealed box and the vent has to go outside the car. The switch has to be easily accessible on the rear of the car

I have a battery tie down (came with the taylor kit). Just wondering what I should do about the vent tube. I was going to drill a hole in the trunk and just run it under BUT where I would drill is the frame.... no good.

Put the vent tube through where the shock tower access port is and just dill a hole into the fenderwell. Install a rubber grommet and run the tube through the grommet. You now have it vented properly and its water proof.

OK I have the venting situation figured out since there are quite a few places that I can put it. Now for the cut off switch... does anyone have any kind of tech article?

dont forget the on/off switch put it behind your plate and then get one of those nice flip down license plate brackets and use some radiator hose to keep the top from hitting your on/off switch
