Default fuel line for carbs

the fuel line in my 85 is all kinked and a mess. there is an electric fuel pump set-up and then a bunch of hack copper to hose to aluminum lines. the aluminum runs most of the way under the car and has tons of kinks and twists so i want to replace it all so its clean and works properly. what do you recommend? should i just re-run the aluminum tubing or should i buy some braided line and run it all the way from the tank and fuel pump to the fuel regulator?
