Are you sure you have to get em notched for rhs, adder said no and someone else is runnin 200's with stock pistons and eddy and holley and trickflow all got the same size valves and you dont need to notch ur pistons

whoa whoa whoa.... when did I ever say that you dont have to get them notched....

I got my pistons notched, but they are still stock pistons....

perhaps you just read wrong

its not that they are iron.... perhaps you missed the....

Racing Head Service (RHS) Pro Action one pair (2) of bare cast iron cylinder heads for Small Block Ford Windsor and 5.0-Liter engines


means they have no valves or springs... etc

I have no idea what "notching heads" is, but notching pistons is when you make the valve relief in the piston wider, to accomodate a larger intake valve

thanks for the info

do you have to do that to your pistons when buying any heads or just ones with large intake valves?

only heads with 2.02" intake valves... and/or if you are using a really big cam
