Default New throttle body!

Hey guys I just put a 65mm throttle body in my stang and boy does that make a difference! The throttle response is amazing compared to my stock 60mm throttle body--I didn't think it would make that much of difference considering its only 5mm but it did. What should my idle be at in park because mines at roughly 900rpm and I thought that was a little high. At a stop sign in drive it's around 600 to 650rpm. Does that sound right?

What throttle body is it and where did you purchase it from? I'm in the market for a larger t/b but don't want to spend the bucks.

I bought my throttle body and egr plate for $130 plus $20 shippingfrom Blue Oval Industries through e-bay.I don't have many supporting mods. I do have new headers, slp loudmouth mufflers with x-pipe, hypertech chip, electric fan, underdrive pulleys,MSD dist.cap, rotor, and plug wires, accel coil,NGK iridium plugs, and a fully functional ram air system. I also have 373 gears and a Ford Racing radiater.

Are you still using the stock 55mm MAF? Can you really notice that much of a difference in 5mm?

I have an 88 so I don't think I have MAF--it's speed density
I just had my mechanic advance my timing to 14 but I also have my TP sensor set at .99 which I know really helps the throttle response
