GTS budget build 5.0
 

I am posting this for a friend. He just purchased a 1995 gts 5.0 it has 113,000 miles on it and full exhuast and intake. He bought the car for 3500 and has 3k to spend in accessories. He wants a car not many people have. Not your typical mustang. Anyways other than some tires and rims later on down the road can you guys help him get 300wrtq+ 300wrhp with the extra 2.5g's? is that possible with a tranny, motor rebuild+ labor and performance parts or should he even bother rebuilding it.

Piece together, or just buy a HCI combo, and get some 24# injectors, new Fuel pump, pressure regulator, and that should get you close to 300 RWHP. If not happy with that, there is always N2O. I dont think you necessarily need a Rebuild, unless you are smoking alot or using alot of oil. Get some 3:73s for your rear. Your T-5 will be ok, until you start racing it alot or playin on the street. Lots of used parts come in handy since your on a budget. Look in the parts section and you'll find alot of what you need. Search the forums for the best HCI combo.
