Selonoid troubles?
Alrighty, the other day i had just gotten off work and i tried to start my mustang. I clicked rapidly and loudly for a couple seconds when i tried to start it and then i quit. I tried again and the interior lights came on, and the clock on my radio was reset tonoon but the dash clock was still at the right time.
I cleaned the terminals for the battery, had the battery checked at autozone and they said it was great, check the alternator when it was running so its not it and it wanted to start when the problem was going on so i dont think thats it. The guy at autozone said it was the selonoid and gave me one but im not sure which one it goes to.
Could this be the problem? if so how many are there and where are they?
starter and alternator?

RE: Selonoid troubles?
no, just one solenoid, right next to the coil.
if you still have a black plastic cover under the hood, on the drivers side, with the Catalyst sticker on it, its under that cover, right behind the battery.
MAKE SURE that you re-install the wiring the exact same way that you take it off the old one, and make sure that the mounting surface is clean, it is the ground for the unit.

were talking about an sn95 just in case that makes any difference in this situation.
my haynes manual says that there is more than just that. is there a way you could show me a pic or something of where it is at exactly?
